How work is reviewed
Named preparer and reviewer on every return
The taxable person remains legally responsible for the return filed in their name. TaxSey is responsible for the preparation and review being reasonable, reconciled and documented.
- 1 Scope letter: deliverables, documents, exclusions and fee agreed in writing.
- 2 Preparer drafts the return and working papers.
- 3 Second reviewer signs off before you see the draft.
- 4 You approve in writing before anything is submitted to EmaraTax.
What you keep responsibility for
- • Maintaining primary books of account.
- • Providing sales and purchase documentation.
- • Approving the return before submission.
- • Paying any tax due directly to the FTA.
What we do not promise
- • A specific audit outcome or penalty waiver.
- • Direct machine-to-machine submission to EmaraTax beyond the official portal.
- • E-invoicing transmission (we are not an MoF-accredited ASP; see the e-invoicing guide).
Security & assurance
Evidence available under NDA
We publish what we can evidence. SOC 2 Type II report, penetration-test summary, data-flow diagram and subprocessor list are available under NDA through procurement.
Security & assurance pageWe are careful about these terms
- • SOC 2 is an attestation report, not a certification. Report shared under NDA.
- • ISO claims only where the certificate is current with an accredited body.
- • Data residency described per subprocessor, not as a blanket "never leaves UAE" promise.
- • SLA commitments live in the contract, not on marketing pages.
